Troubleshooting
Common OneVanilla issues & fixes
Card shows 'not found' right after purchase
OneVanilla activation usually completes within minutes, but sometimes takes longer at busy stores. Hold onto your receipt and try again in a few hours.
Online transaction declined despite enough balance
Register the card at onevanilla.com with a billing address. Many online stores require AVS matching and will decline unregistered cards.
Transaction stuck as pending
Pre-authorization holds (gas stations, hotels, car rentals) can hold funds for up to 7 days beyond the actual charge. The available balance will recover once the hold drops.
